Adventure Tourism Industry Congress, 2004 Atlantic
Canada Showcase and recent HNL conventions have all been
brought to a higher level through the technology
provided by our recipients. This, of course, has been a
benefit to the entire industry. Participants in these
events have seen the ability for on-line registration
and on-site technology-based help centres.
The service capabilities this company has provided to
HNL has been noticed by other provincial tourism
associations and has been adopted in other provinces.
Supplier of the Year Award
The Supplier of the Year Award is presented to a
supplier of goods and/or services who has demonstrated
an outstanding contribution to the tourism industry by
supplying excellent products and exceptional customer
service to tourism products province wide.
Eligible: Suppliers of goods and services (ie.
transportation, telephone, bedding, plant, food stuffs
etc.)

HNL Criteria: Hospitality Newfoundland and Labrador
exists to represent the interests of tourism and
hospitality business owners in this province. Revenue
growth and professionalism are a reflection of the goods
and services tourism operators sell. The Supplier of the
Year Award was created to recognize the contribution of
companies or individuals that are instrumental in
providing operators with the best of both. To be
eligible for this award, a nominee must meet the
following criteria:
- The nominee must be a member of HNL in good standing
- Display quality of product and people
- Price products competitively
- Practice efficiency
- Be innovative/proactive
- Encourage partnership with tourism partners
- Operate with fairness, honesty and courteousness.
