Clicking the ‘Contact Us’ button initiates an email to
one of our Client Services Representatives. Within 24
hours, we will contact you to introduce
ourselves and glean any information not outlined in the
'Request For Information' area of our site.
A personal follow-up will be arranged to meet your
ISP Atlantic representative who will deliver a Needs
Assessment based on that initial discussion. However,
where that's not possible we will deliver an electronic
copy of this document and follow-up via telephone or
email within 24 hours. Either way, this
is an opportunity for both sides to gain a deeper
understanding of your specific requirements that will
serve as the basis for a more detailed quotation.
2. Design
Once we have established those benchmarks, and depending
on your needs, we usually begin by developing the
graphical interface for your website -- sometimes
referred to as the "look and feel" paying strict
attention to the navigational elements necessary to
ensure a positive user experience. This is typically a
non-functioning template based on your corporate
identification, highlighting specific features with any
‘actions’ identified and/or simulated.
In the event of more complex applications, a prototype
will be developed with each screen presented as it will
be in the final database with all relevant
functional details and outcomes simulated. Again this
will NOT be a fully functional application rather it
will serve as the basis for the Development Phase,
avoiding any 'extras' or delays once development begins.
* This is a very important step as it will serve as the
foundation of your site. Any errors or omissions here
will have a significant impact on development time and/or cost.
3. Develop
Once we have agreed and signed-off on the look and
functionality of your online presence, we begin the
actual Development Phase of the project. We will, at
this point give you an Estimated Delivery Time (EDT) of
when you can expect us to have the first active
iteration of the project for you to view. This is
dependent on the size and scope of the project and/or
any extenuating circumstances previously acknowledged
and agreed upon. However, a typical turnaround time on
new projects is 2-3 weeks.
At completion, you will
be contacted by an ISP Atlantic Project Manager and
asked to review the work to date. Typically, we will
email you notification and
embed a link in the message. Clicking the link will
launch a "development" version of your site. We strongly
encourage you review it and respond as soon as
possible after receiving notification to ensure that
your project remains near the top of our workflow
schedule. To be fair to all our clients, any delays in
communication will have an impact on the next phase of
development and subsequent deliver time.
The development version will NOT be accessible to the
public.
If there are no changes, we will have our Quality
Assurance personnel fine-tune the site and comb the
application to ensure that it’s 100% error-free.
* Any changes/errors/omission will be identified and
implemented at this point. Any deviations from the
original quote will be discussed and re-quoted if
required. Once this round of changes has been made, you
will receive another email as above.
** A maximum of THREE (3) iterations will permitted
unless otherwise agreed upon.
4. Deploy
When we are confident that the site is ready for public
viewing, you will be issued an invoice for the work to
date. As soon as payment is received, we will
move your application from the "development" area to the
"public" area of our server. Once in the public domain,
we will do one final check to ensure the
integrity of the content and functionality.
